This week I have been sick not just this week I have been sick for seven weeks and it has got to the point that it has got really annoying. This week we have also started gymnastics in gym. I am really bad at it but Libby and Leah are @#$%ing amazing. They can do the bridge but it looks more like a mountain. if i could do that I would be the best goalie in the universe because I could stretch to the other side of the net. i also started my baseball season which I am looking very much forward to. I am excited to watch the paralympic games because Rick Hansen is related somehow to my neighbour and my neighbour is really cool and rich. If I could choose to make a new sport in the paralympics I would choose paralympic baseball because it would be really interestinghow they would play. my favorite sport is baseball because there is so many people that play and I play pretty competitively and so many of my frinds play it and I aways pitch the ball harder when it is my friends because I want them to be scared of me. This was my weekend.

This week was one of the best weeks of my life. in school I did not have that much homework to do which was awesome. Awesome had curling on Wednesday instead of Friday because there was a competition on at North Shore Winter Club. This week about three people got braces which is weird because it was all in like two or three days. Another thing that happened his week was that Jordan and I was accepted to he Sentinel hockey academy. The hockey academy is for grade eight to twelve it will help me because at my practices it is mostly puck shooting. In Sentinel it is skating and the other thing that is cool about it is that you do dry land training and other sports like squash which is really fun. You also get to play floor ball, is kind of like hockey but it is on the floor with different types of sticks and is played with a wiffle ball which stings like heck when you get hit with it. During the olympics it will be very busy and I have hockey in Burnaby but for three of the two weeks I am going to be in Washington at the Great Wolf Lodge. It has an indoor water park a arcade and lots of skiing and snowboarding. Also at school we had a volleyball game at Chartwell and we won 5-1 and I played against three of my friends on that team we also had little buddies and we hepled them make Valentines bags which was very fun.

Christmas Spirit

Today we were doing Christmas crackers with our little buddies in kindergarten which was very fun. My little buddy is really cool because his birthday is on Halloween. Connor and I made three crackers but we could have done more but the classran out of it which means we must have made a lot. Jetson’s buddy was not here so he was with me and my buddy. All the crackers that the school made goes to several different places which was Grandview Elementary who is our sister school is getting them, Queen Mary Elementary is getting them,the harvest Project is, covenant House is and the Union Gospel Mission is too.
Our school has just finished the grade seven basketball tournament at West Van high where the girls placed 3rd and the boys placed 2nd because of some cheating on the other team. The other team West Bay team had two players stay out for more than two shifts which is not allowed this made me mostly and the other teammates really upset. the girls had won 3 and lost one we had won 4 and lost one. i was sick for another week which was about two weeks a go and I forgot to check my homework with Mr. Beck and I had to do a lot of last minute work.
I Am Silent Day

Today was I am Silent Day which we had to be silent all day as we were respecting others in the world who don’t have a voice in what they say of do. This year we are trying to raise 3 000 or moreafrican villages to buy h20 supplies for kids to drink nice clean water. There are many other countries like that but we are focusing on them because that’s where most of it is happening. We are going to raise the money by getting sponsors to sponsor us for each block of school we do so if I were to do three blocks and they sponsored me 5$ would get 15$ and all of grade seven is doing this so we are going to raise a lot. I have raised 15$ so far and I will probably get 20$. But this is kind of boring not aloud to speak all day which is really hard. I can not believe how hard it is living like that because they could sell you or be taken away for no reason. That concludes my post this week.
Aquarium Feild Trip

This field trip was kind of boring but exciting with lots of interesting stuff like the otters being 100% dry under their fur and how fast and how high dolphins can swim and jump. Also I saw a fish called a Coelacanth (See-la-canth) that was supposed to be extinct 400 million years a go, but was caught in 1938 in the Indian Ocean by fisherman. Also that some piranhaare vegetarian but the non-vegetarian ones usually do not eat a lot like a cow they would just nip it unless they haven’t eaten for months maybe they would then. Sloths are really cool but they are none for being really slow but that’s only on the ground because they don’t have the right feet for it but they are fast in the trees. That concludes my feild trip.

This week there has been a lot of homework such as science, math, socials, library, french and l.a.. Also during that I was playing hockey and basketball plus the homework, I was very busy, the good thing is I got almost everything in except Greek mythology writing. Also I have two games in a row against Cloverdale and then Chilliwack but I am only playing against Chilliwack which is at ten thirty in the morning but we have to be their at nine thirty and it takes an hour and a half to get there. Basketball has been great so far we are 1-0-1 but we only tied because the scorekeepers messed up and gave the west bay team to many points. Overall its been very good but I have to say I’m really looking forward to the field trip at the aquarium.

Aquatic Ape Theory

I think this theory is not true because they did not really swim they would just stand up in the water and walk across small rivines and they can not hold there breath under water. I believe that we evolved and that it was not god that made us because that is just a belief. There is very good evidence that we did evolve.
Halloween

This halloween I am dressing up as a hobo. Last year I did not get a lot of candy but this year I am trying to get ad much as I can and stay out until nobody is giving out anymore candy. I am going to go trick or treating with my friends that only come every three weeks because they live in Victoria. After I go trick or Treating I will go back to my house and watch a horror movie late at night so it will be a lot scarier. Last year I went with a big group when I was trick or treating. But when you go with a big group the peoples house that you go to, they usually give you less candy because there are more people to serve but when you go with a smaller group you get more. This is what I am doing for halloween and I hope other people have a good haloween or better.

What I’m Thankful For

There are tons of people in the world who don’t have homes and that are sleeping on the street with no protection. Then there are some people that have overly huge homes who don’t even realise how fortunate they are to have one. I’m thankful for the home that I have because it is the perfect size it’s not to big or not to small. It’s good to have it because I stay warm I have water and food stored in it and I have electrical resources such as t.v., the computer and cooking utilities. Others have no food, no protection, no water no t.v., and no cooking utilities. another thing I am thankful for is my friends. Friends are really important in life, they can help you out with problems and homework and lots of other stuff. Friends make life a lot easier because it is a lot more fun to hang out with. That is what I am thankful for and that is what you should be thankful for.
